Implementing Appropriate Exercise Prescription Principles

In this lecture, current gaps in physiotherapists and researchers knowledge and application of optimal exercise prescription will be highlighted. Using knee pain as an example, the impact of poor use of exercise by physiotherapists on patient outcomes and referrals will be discussed. The lecture will finish with guidance on 'how to' prescribe exercise for knee pain, and how a physiotherapist might continue to improve their skills in this area.
