Graduate Event: What the Back?: Neurodynamic Treatment and Spinal Radiology

Ever had trouble deciding when to use neurodynamic treatment for your spinal patient? How about seeing a spinal MRI which has left you scratching your head? Join us in the last Graduate Lecture for 2017, as we tackle these pain in the back questions. Alicia Rayner will discuss neurodynamics in physiotherapy and how to clinical apply techniques with a practical demonstration. Specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist David Simondson will share his wealth of knowledge in radiology and give practical tips to help with reading spinal imaging.

David Simondson is an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience in both private and public practice. David currently works across St Vincent Hospital as a Grade 4 Physiotherapist in the Neurosurgery Department and Bellbird Sports and Spinal as a Private Practitioner. David is an active member of the MPA (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia), having presented at two national conferences and chairing the Victorian branch of the Musculoskeletal Special Interest Group. He regularly presents lectures on radiology topics to this group, as well as, for the Spinal Level 2 Course. David is also a Clinical Educator for the Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy course at La Trobe University.
