Introduction To Assessment & Treatment of the Pelvic Floor

This course is appropriate for AHPRA registered physiotherapists only*

Course: This course will provide physiotherapists with the opportunity to understand basic pelvic floor function, improve the knowledge and skills required to identify risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunction, implement preventative strategies and treat symptomatic patients. Physiotherapists keen to enter this area of physiotherapy practice, or who have completed the APA Level 1 CWHPA course, will benefit from this comprehensive course, which contains practical elements including manual pelvic floor muscle function assessment.

The lecture area will be in the Telehealth Room, Level 1, Zone F (formerly known as the Queen Victoria Building).Enter via the Queen Victoria entrance, up the lifts/stairs to level 1, then follow the signs to the 'Lecture Theatre' to head in the right direction. The 'Telehealth Room' is off that corridor on the right hand side and is sign posted clearly.
