This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to develop basic skills of running analysis and training programs to address identified impairments and underlying contributing factors.

This workshop is the baseline requirement to be eligible to attend the level 2 and 3 Running workshops which will include the assessment and management of injured runners. 

Presenter Peter Roberts, FACP Specialist Musculoskeletal physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists) and APA Sports Physiotherapist

Learning Outcomes
The participant of the Running course - Level 1 will:
1.  Learn basic running analysis skills, including: technique assessment.
2.  Learn the identification of key contributing factors underlying inefficient running techniques.
3.  Learn strategies to train more efficient running techniques.
4.  Learn how to use the coachmyvideo app as a tool to assist in this analysis.

Participants must wear/bring clothing and shoes suitable for running
